I am a Rhinelander High School Art Teacher.
Janette uses handmade beads and fossilized rocks to make one of a kind very special necklaces.
Carole Hall started her personal hand-painted glassware company in October of 2002. She began hand-painting glassware as a hobby that quickly became one of her passions. Her collection includes a large variety of unique designs.Carole, ever clever, artfully incorporates her itials “CEH” into every piece of glass she paints. The trick is to find the letters concealed within the pattern!
Secret Garden Hand Painted Glass is publicly shown only once each
year in October at Cranberry Fest in Eagle River, WI. All designs are original.
Carole works in other media as well. She paints with oil, acrylic and water color, draws in colored pencil, ink and soft pastels. She continues to pursue her artistic career and improve her abilities as a student at a local conservatory of the arts.
And the Bird Collection:
Begining in 2002-2003: Humming Birds, Cardinals and Chickadee
2004: Bluebirds/Buntings and Goldfinch
2005: Red Poll
2006: Oriole
2007: Tufted Titmouse
2008: Blue Jays
2009: Owls
2010: Will be introduced at Cranberry Fest in Eagle River Wi on October 2nd and 3rd. 2010
The cloth speaks to me. It tells me how it needs to be stitched or embellished. I hand dye the fabric to reflect the colors found in nature. Each cloth takes on a life of its own, becoming wonderful quilts or wearable art. The study of cloth has become a life long journey with a loving hand taking each stitch.
I have been a serious woodturner for 5 years. I have liked working with wood for as long as I can remember. I live in the northwoods because of the trees. I appreciate finding the exquisite grain on the inside of the trees.
