Meet the Artist:

Greg Johnson is a Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Tribal member and a master artists. Greg was the recipient of the 2009 Wisconsin Arts Board Folk Arts Apprenticeship award. Greg is an artist making beadwork, birchbark canoes, wigwams, moccasins, and regalia, and partakes in old-time Ojibwe medicine societies. Greg speaks Ojibwemowin and edited the Lac du Flambeau newspaper.
